DESCRIPTION:DURHAM CITY RUN FESTIVAL 5K & 10K\nThursday 17th July 2025\, 16:00 \nDurham City \nRegister to take part in the Durham City Run Festival 5K or 10K by clicking here! \n\nRun for Red Sky Foundation\, the official charity partner of Durham City Runs and help us save every heartbeat.  We help and support babies\, children and adults who are born with or who may develop heart conditions in County Durham and the North East.  If you are running this year\, we would love you to register here for your fundraising link to raise vital funds for our charity and help us install more life saving public access defibrillators across the Cathedral City of Durham and the wider North East. \nTwo races and one unforgettable finish! The World Heritage Site provides the stunning backdrop to this exciting event that chases through the narrow cobbled streets and along the beautiful River Wear with the imposing 900 year old Cathedral always beckoning. There can hardly be a more spectacular setting for a Summer Night of racing and fun! \nThe 5k and 10k races start 20 minutes apart\, facing each other across the ancient Market square. 5k runners will set off first at 7.00pm\, with the 10k runners following 20 minutes later. Whichever you elect for\, you will finish at Millennium Place\, the new city centre hub. With a little luck you may have produced your own historical performance to match the surrounding splendour!
