The Great North Run – 11th September 2022

Join us for the most famous half marathon in the UK.

Starting in Newcastle, you will cross the Tyne Bridge as the Red Arrows fly over, before making your way through Gateshead down to the coast and the finish line at South Shields, cheered on all the way by the thousands of spectators who will encourage you to the end of the 13.1 miles.

Get involved

Registration fee is £59 per person; enter individually or as part of a team with family, friends or work colleagues. Each runner will receive a running vest, fundraising pack and once you have made it across the finish line we will be in the charity village to welcome you with refreshments.

Fundraising target

We are asking our runners to raise as much as they can to help raise funds for Red Sky Foundation. We appreciate that raising sponsorship in the current climate can be challenging so we aim to support all our runners to help them to reach their own personal fundraising target.
