Run for Red Sky Foundation, the official charity partner of Sunderland City Runs and help us to save every heartbeat to keep on saving lives.  We help and support babies, children and adults who are born with or who may develop heart conditions in Sunderland and the North East.  If you are running this year, we would love you to register here for your fundraising link to raise vital funds for our charity and help us install more life saving public access defibrillators across the city of Sunderland and the wider North East.  

Red Sky Foundation is saving lives and sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone.  Currently only 1 in 10 people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest, but you can change that by running for #TEAMREDSKY. 

You can choose to raise money by running in Sunderland City Council’s BIG 3K Run.  Or take on Sunderland Run’s flat and fast 5K or 10K or choose to take on the epic Half-Marathon.  There is something for everyone.

Come and join in one of the north’s largest running events that races through the city and along the sea front, with two of Sunderland’s famous bridges providing a stunning backdrop to all races. No matter if you’re a first-timer or an experienced runner, the course and atmosphere are conducive to fast times as well as a lot of fun. See you on the start line!
